From c9533d1bca3393fbdfe5b24ccb4cfe6a1a02d794 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Michel=20D=C3=A4nzer?= Date: Fri, 3 Aug 2018 17:24:32 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] drm/amdgpu: Use kvmalloc for allocating UVD/VCE/VCN BO backup memory MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The allocated size can be (at least?) as large as megabytes, and there's no need for it to be physically contiguous. May avoid spurious failures to initialize / suspend the corresponding block while there's memory pressure.
