If the id of the existed transaction is more than the one we specified, it

770b6cb4d2 ARM: OMAP: Fix drivers to depend on omap for internal devices
These devices are not available on other architectures, so
let's limit them to omap.

If the driver subsystem maintainers want to build test
system wide changes without building for each target,
it's easy to carry a test patch that just strips out the
depends entries from Kconfig files.

Pull Automatic NUMA Balancing bare-bones from Mel Gorman:

  In almost all respects balancenuma is the dumbest of the three because
  its main impact is on the VM side with no attempt to be smart about
  scheduling.  In the interest of getting the ball rolling, it would be
  desirable to see this much merged for 3.8 with the view to building
  scheduler smarts on top and adapting the VM where required for 3.9.

  The results are a mixed bag.  In my own tests, balancenuma does
  reasonably well.  It's dumb as rocks and does not regress against
  mainline.  On the other hand, Ingo's tests shows that balancenuma is
  incapable of converging for this workloads driven by perf which is bad
  but is potentially explained by the lack of scheduler smarts.  Thomas'
  results show balancenuma improves on mainline but falls far short of
  numacore or autonuma.  Srikar's results indicate we all suffer on a
  large machine with imbalanced node sizes.

  My own testing showed that recent numacore results have improved
  dramatically, particularly in the last week but not universally.
  We've butted heads heavily on system CPU usage and high levels of
  migration even when it shows that overall performance is better.
  There are also cases where it regresses.  Of interest is that for
  specjbb in some configurations it will regress for lower numbers of
  warehouses and show gains for higher numbers which is not reported by
  the tool by default and sometimes missed in treports.  Recently I
  reported for numacore that the JVM was crashing with
  NullPointerExceptions but currently it's unclear what the source of
  this problem is.  Initially I thought it was in how numacore batch
  handles PTEs but I'm no longer think this is the case.  It's possible
  numacore is just able to trigger it due to higher rates of migration.

  These reports were quite late in the cycle so I/we would like to start
  with this tree as it contains much of the code we can agree on and has
  not changed significantly over the last 2-3 weeks."

a1681781da i2c: Mention functionality flags in SMBus protocol documentation
While the mapping between I2C adapter functionality flags and
i2c_smbus_*() helper functions is rather obvious, let's still document
it for clarity.

Also drop the reference to 2 command byte I2C block reads, there is no
support for that in the kernel at the moment.

6676a847d4 i2c-i801: Enable interrupts for all post-ICH5 chips
I did not receive a single bug report after interrupt support was
added for a limited number of chips. So I'd say the code is good and
should be enabled for all supported chips, that is: ICH5 and later.

reverted earlier due to the problems it caused.

This was pointed out by Yinghai Lu, and verified by me on my Macbook Air
that uses EFI.

  to broken 32-bit highmem support within the FILEIO backend driver.

ada8e20d04 NFS: Don't use SetPageError in the NFS writeback code
The writeback code is already capable of passing errors back to user space
by means of the open_context->error. In the case of ENOSPC, Neil Brown
is reporting seeing 2 errors being returned.

Neil writes:

strace dd if=/dev/zero conv=fsync >> /mnt2/afile count=1

reported Input/output error and the relevant parts of the strace output are:

write(1, "\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0"..., 512) = 512
fsync(1)                                = -1 EIO (Input/output error)
close(1)                                = -1 ENOSPC (No space left on device)"

Neil then shows that the duplication of error messages appears to be due to
the use of the PageError() mechanism, which causes filemap_fdatawait_range
to return the extra EIO. The regression was introduced by
commit 7b281ee026 (NFS: fsync() must exit
with an error if page writeback failed).

Fix this by removing the call to SetPageError(), and just relying on
open_context->error reporting the ENOSPC back to fsync().

ac20d163fc NFSv4.1: Deal effectively with interrupted RPC calls.
If an RPC call is interrupted, assume that the server hasn't processed
the RPC call so that the next time we use the slot, we know that if we
get a NFS4ERR_SEQ_MISORDERED or NFS4ERR_SEQ_FALSE_RETRY, we just have
to bump the sequence number.

be354f4081 Revert "x86, mm: Include the entire kernel memory map in trampoline_pgd"
This reverts commit 53b87cf088.

It causes odd bootup problems on x86-64.  Markus Trippelsdorf gets a
repeatable oops, and I see a non-repeatable oops (or constant stream of
messages that scroll off too quickly to read) that seems to go away with
this commit reverted.

So we don't know exactly what is wrong with the commit, but it's
definitely problematic, and worth reverting sooner rather than later.

If the server returns NFS4ERR_SEQ_MISORDERED, it could be a sign
that the slot was retired at some point. Retry the attempt after
reinitialising the slot sequence number to 1.

Also add a handler for NFS4ERR_SEQ_FALSE_RETRY. Just bump the slot
sequence number and retry...

1f018458b3 NFS: Fix calls to drop_nlink()
It is almost always wrong for NFS to call drop_nlink() after removing a
file. What we really want is to mark the inode's attributes for
revalidation, and we want to ensure that the VFS drops it if we're
reasonably sure that this is the final unlink().
Do the former using the usual cache validity flags, and the latter
by testing if inode->i_nlink == 1, and clearing it in that case.

This also fixes the following warning reported by Neil Brown and
