d6871a7338 mfd: madera: Fixup SPDX headers
GPL-2.0-only is the preferred way of expressing v2 of the GPL, so switch
to that. Remove some redundant copyright notices and correct some
instances where the wrong comment type has been used in header files.

ac195d9428 mfd: rk808: Prepare rk805 for poweroff
RK805 has SLEEP signal, which can put the device into SLEEP or OFF
mode. The default is SLEEP mode.

However, when the kernel performs power-off (actually the ATF) the
device will not go fully off and this will result in higher power
consumption and inability to wake the device with RTC alarm.

The solution is to enable pm_power_off_prepare function, which will
configure SLEEP pin for OFF function.

7630499464 mfd: rk808: Check pm_power_off pointer
The function pointer pm_power_off may point to function from other
module (PSCI for example). If rk808 is removed, pm_power_off is
overwritten to NULL and the system cannot be powered off.

This patch checks if pm_power_off points to a module function.

554e937ec8 mfd: cros_ec: differentiate SCP from EC by feature bit
System Companion Processor (SCP) is Cortex M4 co-processor on some
MediaTek platform that can run EC-style firmware. Since a SCP and EC
would both exist on a system, and use the cros_ec_dev driver, we need to
differentiate between them for the userspace, or they would both be
registered at /dev/cros_ec, causing a conflict.

regulator: da9061/62: Adjust LDO voltage selection minimum value
According to the DA9061 and DA9062 datasheets the LDO voltage selection
registers have a lower value of 0x02. This applies to voltage registers
VLDO1_A, VLDO2_A, VLDO3_A and VLDO4_A. This linear offset of 0x02 was
previously not observed by the driver, causing the LDO output voltage to
be systematically lower by two steps (= 0.1V).

This patch fixes the minimum linear selector offset by setting it to a
value of 2 and increases the n_voltages by the same amount allowing
voltages in the range 0x02 -> 0.9V to 0x38 -> 3.6V to be correctly
selected. Also fixes an incorrect calculaton for the n_voltages value in
the regulator LDO2.

These fixes effect all LDO regulators for DA9061 and DA9062.

The Cirrus Logic Madera codecs are a family of related codecs with
extensive digital and analogue I/O, digital mixing and routing,

This patch also adds the pdata to the parent mfd pdata struct.
Since there is a circular build dependency it's convenient to

4f8f2bb7ab mfd: cros_ec: Instantiate properly CrOS Touchpad MCU device
Support Touchpad MCU as a special of CrOS EC devices. The current
Touchpad MCU is used on Eve Chromebook and used the same protocol as
other CrOS EC devices.

When a MCU has touchpad support (aka EC_FEATURE_TOUCHPAD), it is
instantiated as a special CrOS EC device with device name 'cros_tp'. So
regardless of the probing order between the actual cros_ec and cros_tp,
the userspace and other kernel drivers should not confuse them.

90486af5e0 mfd: cros_ec: Instantiate properly CrOS FP MCU device
Support Fingerprint MCU as a special of CrOS EC devices. The current FP
MCU uses the same EC SPI protocol v3 as other CrOS EC devices on a SPI
bus.

When a MCU has fingerprint support (aka EC_FEATURE_FINGERPRINT), it is
instantiated as a special CrOS EC device with device name 'cros_fp'. So
regardless of the probing order between the actual cros_ec and cros_fp,

Update the feature enum for the Chromebook Embedded Controller to the
latest version. Some of these enums are still not used in the kernel but

Mismatch between what is found in the Datasheets for DA9063 and DA9063L

Add support in code for the new forms of the host sleep event.

f36e789a1f mfd: altera-sysmgr: Add SOCFPGA System Manager
The SOCFPGA System Manager register block aggregates different
peripheral functions into one area.
On 32 bit ARM parts, handle in the same way as syscon.
On 64 bit ARM parts, the System Manager can only be accessed by

Since regmaps abstract out the underlying register access, the
changes to drivers accessing the System Manager are minimal.

384d11fa0e ARM: SoC driver updates for 5.1
As usual, the drivers/tee and drivers/reset subsystems get merged
here, with the expected set of smaller updates and some new hardware
support. The tee subsystem now supports device drivers to be attached
to a tee, the first example here is a random number driver with its
 implementation in the secure world.

Three new power domain drivers get added for specific chip families:
  - Broadcom BCM283x chips (used in Raspberry Pi)
  - Qualcomm Snapdragon phone chips
  - Xilinx ZynqMP FPGA SoCs

One new driver is added to talk to the BPMP firmware on NVIDIA
 Tegra210

Existing drivers are extended for new SoC variants from NXP,
 NVIDIA, Amlogic and Qualcomm.

422dcafe47 mfd: lochnagar: Add support for the Cirrus Logic Lochnagar
Lochnagar is an evaluation and development board for Cirrus
Logic Smart CODEC and Amp devices. It allows the connection of
most Cirrus Logic devices on mini-cards, as well as allowing
connection of various application processor systems to provide a
full evaluation platform. This driver supports the board
controller chip on the Lochnagar board. Audio system topology,
clocking and power can all be controlled through the Lochnagar
controller chip, allowing the device under test to be used in
a variety of possible use cases.

As the Lochnagar is a fairly complex device this MFD driver
allows the drivers for the various features to be bound
in. Initially clocking, regulator and pinctrl will be added as
these are necessary to configure the system. But in time at least
audio and voltage/current monitoring will also be added.

7b5618f4b8 ACPI / PMIC: Add support for executing PMIC MIPI sequence elements
DSI LCD panels describe an initialization sequence in the Video BIOS
Tables using so called MIPI sequences. One possible element in these
sequences is a PMIC specific element of 15 bytes.

Although this is not really an ACPI opregion, the ACPI opregion code is the
closest thing we have. We need to have support for these PMIC specific MIPI
sequence elements somwhere. Since we already instantiate a special platform
device for Intel PMICs for the ACPI PMIC OpRegion handler to bind to,
with PMIC specific implementations of the OpRegion, the handling of MIPI
sequence PMIC elements fits very well in the ACPI PMIC OpRegion code.

This commit adds a new intel_soc_pmic_exec_mipi_pmic_seq_element()
function, which is to be backed by a PMIC specific
exec_mipi_pmic_seq_element callback. This function will be called by the
i915 code to execture MIPI sequence PMIC elements.

Pull MMC updates from Ulf Hansson:
"This time, this pull request contains changes crossing subsystems and
archs/platforms, which is mainly because of a bigger modernization of
moving from legacy GPIO to GPIO descriptors for MMC (by Linus

Additionally, once again, I am funneling changes to

9e56f0df36 PCI: imx: Add imx6sx suspend/resume support
Enable PCI suspend/resume support on imx6sx SOCs. This is similar to
imx7d with a few differences:

* The PM_Turn_Off bit is exposed through an IOMUX GPR, like all other
pcie control bits on 6sx.
* The pcie_inbound_axi clk needs to be turned off in suspend. On resume
it is restored via resume -> deassert_core_reset -> enable_ref_clk.

Most of the resume logic is shared with the initial reset after probe.

faed930306 mmc: host: tmio: Use GPIO descriptors
The TMIO MMC driver was passing global GPIO numbers around for
card detect. It turns out only one single board in the kernel
was actually making use of this feature so it is pretty easy
to convert the driver to use only GPIO descriptors.

The lines are flagged as GPIO_ACTIVE_[LOW|HIGH] as that is
what they are, and since we can now rely on the descriptors
to have the right polarity, we set the
"override_active_level" to false in mmc_gpiod_request_cd()
and mmc_gpiod_request_ro().

4b3ab9372f iio: adc: ti_am335x_tscadc: Improve accuracy of measurement
When performing single ended measurements with TSCADC, its recommended
to set negative input (SEL_INM_SWC_3_0) of ADC step to ADC's VREFN in the
corresponding STEP_CONFIGx register.

Also, the positive(SEL_RFP_SWC_2_0) and negative(SEL_RFM_SWC_1_0)
reference voltage for ADC step needs to be set to VREFP and VREFN
respectively in STEP_CONFIGx register.
Without these changes, there may be variation of as much as ~2% in the

regulator: wm8994: Pass descriptor instead of GPIO number
Instead of passing a global GPIO number for the enable GPIO, pass
a descriptor looked up from the device tree node or the board file
decriptor table for the regulator.

There is a single board file passing the GPIOs for LDO1 and LDO2
through platform data, so augment this to pass descriptors
associated with the i2c device as well.

The special GPIO enable DT property for the enable GPIO is
nonstandard but this was accomodated in
commit 6a537d4846
"gpio: of: Support regulator nonstandard GPIO properties".

platform/chrome: straighten out cros_ec_get_{next,host}_event() error codes
cros_ec_get_next_event() is documented to return 0 for success and
negative for errors. It currently returns negative for some errors, and
non-negative (number of bytes received) for success (including some "no
data available" responses as zero). This mostly works out OK, because the
callers were more or less ignoring the documentation, and only treating
positive values as success (and indepdently checking the modification of
'wakeup').

Let's button this up by avoiding pretending to handle event/wakeup
distinctions when no event info was retrieved (i.e., returned 0 bytes).
And fix the documentation of cros_ec_get_host_event() and
cros_ec_get_next_event() to accurately describe their behavior.
