schedule_work() returns 'false' only when the work is already on the queue and this can't happen as kvm_setup_async_pf() always allocates a new one. Also, to avoid potential race, it makes sense to to schedule_work() at the very end after we've added it to the queue. While on it, do some minor cleanup. gfn_to_pfn_async() mentioned in a comment does not currently exist and, moreover, we can check kvm_is_error_hva() at the very beginning, before we try to allocate work so 'retry_sync' label can go away completely. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
