- Using SCT on some Tohsiba drives causes firmware hangs. Disable its use in the drivetemp driver. - Handle potential buffer overflows in scmi and aspeed-pwm-tacho driver. - Energy reporting does not work well on all AMD CPUs. Restrict amd_energy to known working models. - Enable reading the CPU temperature on NCT6798D using undocumented registers. - Fix read errors seen if PEC is enabled in adm1275 driver. - Fix setting the pwm1_enable in emc2103 driver. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCAAdFiEEiHPvMQj9QTOCiqgVyx8mb86fmYEFAl8TEy4ACgkQyx8mb86f mYE9oBAApawi1YpQxrZSsDV+TPf/u/ftBdkWz47w3q1bcYlOqw392fbTl8MEuft6 qK0z06FB048I+vmdQayO9n1f1BpHMoHv1BMBIxFe+XcKNUL2pQJAREYsBdJl1ZNE gWmzRjJmPwVenTokAwE5rBlHnYnEwCI6/1+FKI8OyZ+U3tIAaYFqUS0nd25gHG5i kIiY/BcA6qhNPymvq82QW/yksPdR5ApWju9rTA+RVZc2o5rj9LJ6J+CsKsiLfNpm YZWB/RFIYhUTFfxG89aBoKAb3fky84//lJyXmHx/fzzoFIUUGFxm4V5SKmvPHVO3 BaG/gF0AKQRXiDT+qk3n2wldJGJ+cCkpuL3RYiaadxOVuoBb+bZqJIIMB6VFjQNg LEi1I5A5mhH56mEesoJi8tMx1gpqpKBEapDckTXfDIW4+9BksrhklW9jj4Wf2P9A 6v2XkWbQ4Kh49tn7e54RCdDO5qSiuDT28HeZCciWJjvhwq9bWaSwVIqqjfupKrnR vG9H5M4ihIIb42N2GTT3/CD7VTjg4ZUGOu3Q1o4RcSCT7Jk+1o2dBa0L6kb6XdQs ASm6DddVw2iE4I7E2GFwdNuz7b7A5i3HZbQxUAAq+Ra5JrzdW5kM2lYSFyzxDwX4 cdDip6do42DWPr7DY4xMKwACutHg5ggYZ3xxiu/OowpwAl8ka/M= =tSii -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'hwmon-for-v5.8-rc6' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/groeck/linux-staging into master Pull hwmon fixes from Guenter Roeck: - Using SCT on some Tohsiba drives causes firmware hangs. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
